A taste of Argyll
Come and unwind with us as you sit by the side of the beautiful River Nant and soak up the sunshine, enjoy the wild flowers and watch the birds, red squirrels, the occasional pine marten and other wildlife play on the riverbank. Lichen Burn is a newly-built house, situated in beautiful Glen Nant, on the edge of the village of Taynuilt. Looking to the north, we see Ben Duirinnis as it towers over Loch Etive and faces Ben Cruachan, the local Munro. |

On the way to Oban, however, you will pass
a herd of Highland cattle at Achnacloich Bay.
Beyond Oban to the south the coast road takes you to magical lochs and inlets, and there are many boat operators that will take you to visit the infamous Corryvreckan whirlpool and the Pass of the Grey Dogs, spotting seals, dolphins and occasionally whales along the way. |
